Being a nyc resident for over seven years one of the most important qualities i've learned to appreciate in a stylist is consistency. i've been coming to blanco for almost three years now and this is one of the many things that keep me coming back to see him every six weeks. i know when i walk into my dramatics salon at 57th and 9th blanco will give me the same attention to detail both in my cut/style and also in my experience as the last time i saw him. i don't have to re-explain to him the abnormalities in my hair growth hair type texture etc etc. he remembers - and this is important to me because then together we can focus on the fun elements of my visit styling grooming treatments... my hair is very important to me. i pride myself in having great hair among my circle of friends and co-workers and it is because of blanco's level of experience and technical skill that i trust him with all aspects of my styling. i sincerely hope he wins 2010 Platinum PIA Stylist of the Year Award. I would like to recommend Blanco from the West 57th Street Dramatics here in NYC. I started with Blanco around close to 4 years ago. At first I took my two kids which by the way he is great with and then eventually I started using him for my cuts. My son is a very loyal customer and will trust no one but Blanco with his hair and my daughter has always trusted him to her hair in just the right way to make it as fluffy as she likes to wear it. Then there is me. I have always gone to high end salons for my long locks but after watching him cut my daughters hair so well I decided to give him a try. He did not dissappoint! Now my mother goes to him too.I guess you can say it is now our families salon. Everyone from reception to the stylist themselves are top notch. We were lucky to find someone so great so close to home.
