Joy gives the BEST short haircuts! I lik_e my hair very short and am very picky. Before finding Joy I've tried at least a dozen of different proffesionals both expensive and not - they just don't 'cut' it. When I asked her what's her secret she said that she just follows the hairline. She gives me various tips on coloring and hair care. You should see those scissors flying at a speed of light! I've been with Joy for about a couple of years now...I can just close my eyes and not worry about a thing open them 40 min later and have a perfect as usual cut...Way to go Joy!

She is one of the best stylists I have come across in my life! She knows the look/style that is most suitable for my face and hair type. I was experimenting with growing my hair out. I have thin hair and just wanted a change. I came in to see Joy for a trim and she immediately told me I need more than a trim. My long hair was emphasizing the thin areas. I let her do her thing and she gave me a great hairstyle that made my thin hair look a lot thicker. I was nervous to go for such a dramatic change since I had been growing my hair out long but Joy was honest with me and told me what i didn't seem to want to realize on my own the long hair looked bad on me. i've been going to joy for about 4 yrs?. Not exactly sure how long its been. I feel very confident that every time i go to her i will be completely satisfied. If i want to change something she does it gradually to see if i'm happy with the way its going first and then will continue with it on the next visit. I feel that it is very important to Joy to really get to know her customers. To know what they do and what they like. She takes it from there and always manages to translate that information into a hair style or color.
